Who knew god lived on a dirt road in Vermont
I knew,
When I caught the sunlight flirting with me
She lingered on my bare chest a little too long
As with the morning light she teased me
Trickling streams nibbled on my ears
She tickled my spine and rustled my hair
Packed dirt massaged my feet
And crept its way up my legs
Finally she bed me down with fog
So thick I felt her in my lungs
As our breaths became one
She left me
Erasing her footsteps with a breeze
